NH2-PEG5-C2-NH-Boc is a PROTAC linker, which refers to the alkyl/ether composition. NH2-PEG5-C2-NH-Boc can be used in the synthesis of a series of PROTACs. NH2-PEG5-C2-NH-Boc is a PEG derivative containing an amino group and Boc-protected amino group. The amino group is reactive with carboxylic acids, activated NHS esters, carbonyls (ketone, aldehyde) etc. The Boc group can be deprotected under mild acidic conditions to form the free amine.
